PuroClean of Northeast Raleigh, a locally owned property damage restoration company serving Raleigh and the greater Triangle, has announced its sponsorship of the Raleigh Rugby Football Club, a nonprofit organization that has offered rugby programs to Triangle-area residents since 1981. The partnership supports the club's youth, high school, men's, and women's teams and reflects the company's commitment to investing in the Raleigh community it serves.
Founded in April 1981, Raleigh Rugby Football Club is a non-profit corporation recognized by the IRS as a tax-deductible charitable organization. With a playing membership of more than 300 men, women, and youth, the club fields competitive sides across its youth program for players from age 4 through 8th grade, the Cobras and Rattlesnakes high school girls' and boys' teams, the Venom women's team, and the Vipers men's team. The club competes in the North Carolina Youth Rugby Union and the Mid-Atlantic Conference.
The sponsorship arrives during an important stretch for the club. After the NC Department of Transportation acquired its longtime Poole Road facility through eminent domain in October 2024, Raleigh Rugby's board began searching for a site to develop a new home for the club, while each team continues to organize its own practice and game locations. The club also continues to bring the community together through events like its 2026 golf tournament. Support from local sponsors helps keep rugby accessible for Raleigh-area players of every age during this transition.
Supporting a club that has been part of the Triangle for more than four decades reflects PuroClean of Northeast Raleigh's focus on serving local families and businesses. Owned and operated by Jackson Popielarcheck and Adam Shack, the company provides 24/7 water damage restoration, fire and smoke damage restoration, mold remediation, and biohazard cleanup for homes and businesses across Wake, Durham, Johnston, Harnett, and Chatham counties. The team is IICRC Certified and EPA Lead-Safe Certified and helps property owners work through the insurance claims process with both national and local carriers. From burst pipes during winter storms to mold driven by North Carolina's high humidity, the team responds around the clock and also travels to coastal communities during major storm events.
