New Luxury Home Textiles Brand Freyjaloft Officially Launches

Sep 23, 2026

Freyjaloft, a new home textiles brand built around alpaca, cashmere, and lambswool blends, has launched its debut collection of blankets and cushions, bringing natural-fiber quality and considered design to home settings across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia.

-- Freyjaloft, a newly launched home textiles brand, has introduced its debut collection of blankets and cushions designed for the modern home. The collection is available to customers across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia, with current marketing efforts concentrated in English, French, German, and Italian language markets. The launch centers on a curated selection of woven blankets in natural fiber blends, supported by a companion cushion collection, with the blanket range positioned as the core of the collection.

Freyjaloft carries more than two decades of experience in wool textile manufacturing. Building on this foundation, the brand was created to move beyond producing textiles for other companies and toward a home collection built around its own point of view — one centered on natural materials, quiet detail, and pieces meant to be lived with, season after season, rather than kept for display.

The Freyjaloft name draws on Freyja, a figure from Norse mythology long associated with love and beauty, an association the brand extends to the warmth and comfort of home. By naming the brand this way, Freyjaloft points to what it describes as the depth of warmth found within a home — an idea the brand has translated into a material approach that pairs contemporary home styling with natural fibers traditionally valued for their weight and durability. The result is intended to read as a classic, substantial aesthetic, with a sense of history woven into each piece, rather than one that follows short-term design trends.

The same sensibility guided how the collection's patterns and colors were chosen. Drawing on a close study of the broader home textiles market and its own design philosophy, Freyjaloft aimed for a style that reads as practical, classic, and enduring rather than fleeting. Pattern and color decisions weave motifs rooted in Eastern design heritage together with more contemporary home styling cues, a pairing intended to keep each piece functional while giving it a considered sense of design and visual character.

Freyjaloft's debut lineup includes three blankets designed to move between everyday indoor use and time spent outdoors. The Signature Grid Alpaca & Cashmere Blanket is the largest of the three, woven from 85 percent alpaca and 15 percent cashmere fiber into a blanket meant to feel substantial and warm across a shared sofa or a bed. The Signature Medallion Alpaca & Cashmere Throw is one size smaller and has the same 85/15 alpaca-cashmere blend. It is suited for a single person to wrap up in at home or to use as an extra layer while commuting. The Chroma Nomad Plaid Lambswool & Cashmere Throw shares its size with the Medallion but shifts to a blend of 90 percent lambswool and 10 percent cashmere. This throw is lighter and easier to roll up for travel. It comes in bolder, more energetic colors suited to outdoor use.

The collection is joined by two cushions in 100 percent Merino wool. One has an embroidered, classic, retro-inspired pattern, while the other has a brighter, more contemporary, multicolored design that suits a wider range of home styles.

Freyjaloft builds its products from high-grade, natural fibers, including Peruvian alpaca, Inner Mongolia cashmere, Australian Merino wool, and other natural materials. According to the brand, this reflects a broader preference for pure, natural fiber choices over synthetic or heavily processed alternatives, aimed at giving each piece a genuine, lasting quality true to the material itself.

The brand has announced plans to release additional pieces during the fall and winter seasons. The upcoming pieces are expected to build on the design language introduced at launch while drawing on color and pattern directions anticipated for 2027. New product types are intended to expand the range and appeal to a broader range of everyday home settings. More details on the fall and winter collection will be available closer to the release date.
